Guidance and Counselling

This course is meant for capacity building of school teachers to provide them necessary knowledge, skills and competencies for playing the role of the ‘Teacher Counselor’ in schools. The course is developed in English language which will greatly motivate the school teachers of Assam to participate in the course with confidence and language of their comfort. In this way, the course may prove to be instrumental to fill the gap of professional counselors in government schools by producing ‘Teacher Counsellor’ through this course. The online course includes Twelve Modules with two/three units under each module. A total of thirty-four units. Pedagogy: Learning material will be in the form of e-text, PPTs, Audio-Video Lectures, tutorials. Discussion Forum, 10 MCQs as Self-Assessment Questions per Module.
